Southeast in Season-Openers
Southeast looks to post its third-straight season-opening victory under head coach Tony Samuel. The Redhawks are 3-1 in such games with Samuel at the helm. Those wins came at Austin Peay (Sept. 2) in 2006, vs. Southwest Baptist (Aug. 28) in 2008 and vs. Quincy (Sept. 3) in 2009. Southeast is 8-11 all-time in season-opening games since moving to the NCAA Football Championship Subdivision (formerly I-AA) level in 1991.

Road Warriors
The Redhawks will play on the road for their first three games of the 2010 season. The last time Southeast opened a season with three-straight road games was in 2004.
