Q: What things will you be doing to increase awareness of your team this season?
-Michael K. Minton, St. Charles, Mo.

A: "We will be an improved football team. We had nine players receive OVC preseason honors and one player, wide receiver Willie Ponder was a preseason All-American. Each game features some sort of sponsorship as well as a fan interraction theme. We will have special group days and promotions and giveaways each game. Every game features tailgating outside Houck and we urge fans to participate in that."

Q: Will you keep a two quarterback system going for the rest of the year?
-Patrick W. Stewart, Washington, Mo.

A: "We will decide on a starting quarterback prior to the Tennessee-Martin game and go with that quarterback for the entire game unless there is an injury or that quarterback is not moving the team. We will not alterative quarterbacks. We have two quality quarterbacks in Bobby Brune and Rashad West and I would not hesitate to use either quarterback."

Q: Have you ever considered using Rashad West as a Kordell Stewart type of quarterback? I mean using him under center on some plays, then move him to wide receiver for some plays and then possibly make him a running back on other plays. This would put him and Brune out on the field at the same time and keep the other team guessing about what is coming.
-Jacob Wilson, St. Louis, Mo.

A: "We plan to use Rashad West as a quarterback. He is still learning the quarterback system. He played quarterback only at the end of last season and this year he has missed a lot of practice and game time because of injuries. We think he can be a very effective quarterback and that is where we will play him."
