2010 Sports Network All-America Team

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - Southeast Missouri running back Henry Harris and offensive linemen Frank Knights and Sean Middleton were named to the 2010 Sports Network Football Championship Subdivision All-America Team Wednesday.

Harris was a first-team selection, while Knights earned second-team honors and Middleton took third-team accolades.

Harris, the Ohio Valley Conference's Offensive Player of the Year, earned his third All-America honor this season. He rushed for a Southeast single-season record 1,735 yards and 18 touchdowns. Harris rushed for over 100 yards in 10 of his 12 starts, and led the Redhawks to their first-ever OVC Championship and playoff appearance.

Knights and Middleton were part of a Redhawk offensive line that had four first-team All-OVC selections this season, only the second time in league history that had happened. The duo helped lead a Southeast offense which ranked nationally in sacks allowed (1st, 0.50/game), least yards penalized per game (8th, 37.92 ypg), third down conversion percentage (6th, 47.34 pct.), rushing (3rd, 265.1 ypg) and fourth down conversion percentage (3rd, 72.2 pct.).

All 14 FCS conferences plus an independent program (Georgia State) had players represented on the three teams. The Big Sky led with 16 selections, while the Colonial Athletic Association was second with 13. The Missouri Valley and Southern Conferences followed with nine each.

Meanwhile, the OVC had eight selections, including Harris, Middleton, Knights, Eugene Clifford (S, Tennessee State), Marcus Harris (WR, Murray State), Curt Porter (OT, Jacksonville State), Jeremy Caldwell (KR, Eastern Kentucky) and Dontrell Johnson (PR, Murray State).

A national panel of sports information and media relations directors, broadcasters, writers and other dignitaries selected the All-America based only on the regular season.
