Results

New Orleans, La. -

This week the Southeast golf played in the UNO Invitational. The team came in 10th out of 12 teams. The tournament was in New Orleans, La.and took place at the Eastover Country Club. A total of 66 golfers attended the tournament.

Southeast was struck with a little bad luck when two team members twisted their ankles in an intramural basketball game, another got sick during the tournament, and one was hospitalized for intestinal problems.

In full heath senior Kent Phillips finished in 2nd, he shot a 74 and a 72. Kent missed first by one stroke. Kent has been nominated for OVC player of the week in golf.

Freshman Zack Decker and Sophomore Nathan Sprague finished the tournament in 44th place. Junior Brian Sheehan finished in 53rd place and Junior Brandon Couch finished in 64th place.

Southeast plays at home next week at Kimbeland Country Club in Jackson Mo. The tournament Southeast host is called SEMO Four Ball and takes place Sunday through Tuesday.
