The Southeast Missouri State men's golf team is currently in third after two rounds of the MSU Invitational at the Frances E. Miller Memorial Golf Course in Murray Kentucky. Southeast is only six strokes off the lead of current leader Murray State with a 10-over par 578.

Southeast held the lead after the first round with a 287, but late charges by both Murray State and Morehead State find them in third with the third and final round teeing off at 8:00 am on Tuesday.

Senior Matt Hillis is currently tied for third, just one stroke of the lead, with an even-par, 142. Hillis has eight birdies and has hit even-par in both par 3's and 4's after two rounds.

Mark Schmitz is tied for seventh with a 143 (+1) and Ryan McNeil is in 20th with a 148 (+6).

Southern Illinois' Kyle Hosick leads the field with a 141 (-1).
