Franklin, TN. - Southeast played well in the first two rounds of golf on Monday at the Belmont Invitational. The tournament looked promising when it was tied for 7th at the end of the first day. Unfortunately, the golf team lost their focus during the last round and ended up finishing in 14th place.

The Southeast golf team has been performing well so far this golf season. There are going to be times that the team does not perform as well as they initially plan. "It's hard to keep your focus two days in a row," said Coach Williams. "The players had great focus the first day and had great concentration." Retaining concentration is essential in the game of golf and mastering concentration is a large stepping stone in the game.

The Southeast golf team's next tournament is the Billikens Invitational. It will be held in St. Louis, April 11-13.
