Brian Sheehan Comes In Third
April 15, 2004 After battling horrible conditions of cold and heavy winds at the St. Louis Invitational; Southeast manages to come in fifth overall. The tournament was hosted by the St. Louis University Billikens and held on Monday and Tuesday. The practice round was held on Easter and the whole tournament was played at Gateway National which is right behind the Gateway racetrack. "The Players did not play decent and we did not get the scores we had hoped for," said Coach Williams. He also said that "the conditions are not the problem, we should have played better." Junior, Brian Sheehan, tied for third and "played well all three days," said Williams. Matt Hillis tied for 21st place, Mark Schmitz tied for 28th place, Kent Phillips tied for 39th place, and Zack Decker tied for 56th place.
Southeast Golf will host the OVC Tournament in Paducah, Kentucky on the 25th-28th of April.
