Paducah, KY - The Southeast men's golf team finished up the OVC tournment in Paducah, Kentucky this week. The tournament took place at the Country Club of Paducah on April 25th through April 28th. Sunday, April 25th, the teams were given the chance to play a practice round to prepare them for the following days.

The golf players that participated in this tournament were Mark Schmitz, Zack Decker, Brian Sheehan, Kent Phillips, Matt Hillis and Brandon Couch. All of the teams, consisting of both men and women, from the OVC played in the tournament.

Coach Williams thought the team tried hard, although he was expecting a higher placement. Southeast ended up finishing in 11th place overall and Zack Decker had the highest individual score of the team, tying for 38th place. Matt Hillis was not far behind in 42nd, Brian Sheehan in 44th, Kent Phillips in 49th and Mark Schmitz in 54th.

The men's golf team has played well overall throughout the whole season. They are looking forward to maintaining a strong team for next season and Southeast will continue to cheer them on.
