However, Southeast did manage to keep Oklahoma scoreless from three-point range. The Sooners were useless from long range, missing on all seven attempts.
At the half Oklahoma led 38-24, but the contest was closer throughout most of the half. Southeast tied the score 6-6 on a Jessica Aebi layup with 16:06 left in the half. Oklahoma took the lead from then, gaining as much as a 12-point advantage on two occasions before Southeast cut it to just a seven-point lead. However, the Sooners closed out the half with a late seven-point run to lead by 14 at the half.
