After battling a nagging knee injury and two surgery's, Danyelle Aber has moved into the roll of team manager for the Redhawks. In 2006, Aber contributed to the teams NCAA advancement winning her first all-around title against Texas Woman's University and earning MIC Gymnast of the Week honors. In her freshman campaign, Aber won an individual title on vault against conference foe, Illinois State, and excelled in the classroom earning Scholar Athlete accolades.

Aber, daughter of Thomas and Cynthia Aber, is currently a senior majoring in Biology. Even though Aber will not be performing routines with her teammates this season, she will be an integral part of the veteran leadership on the squad.
