Will Stokley begins his first season as a Redhawk assistant. He will coach the uneven bars and assist with spotting on all floor routines. His additional duties include organizing team travel, recruiting and assist in day-to-day administrative operations. Stokley spent last season at Ball State University as a graduate assistant. Under his guidance, the Cardinal sent three student-athletes to the NCAA Central Regional. A 2009 graduate of Auburn University in Kinesiology with a minor in Coaching, Stokley spent five years as a member of the Tigers gymnastics coaching staff. From 2005-2007, he was a student volunteer coach. In 2008, he was promoted to the team's undergraduate student assistant coach. While serving as a student assistant, he served as co-head coach for the Auburn Gymnastics Academy women's club team for USA Level 7-10. In 2007, he coached the Armory Gymnastics Center men's team for Levels 4-6. As a club team competitor, Stokley was a ten-time Alabama state champion and Class 3 Region won AA Champion. He was also a three-time Junior Olympic National Qualifier. From 2005-2008, he was a member of the Georgia Gymnastics Judging Association where he judged Level 4-10 men's gymnastics. |
