After recording their top score of the season last week, the Southeast Missouri State University gymnasts will compete in a triangular meet with Texas Woman's University and the Air Force Academy on Sunday, 2 p.m., in Denton, Texas.

Southeast posted a seasonal high score of 193.325 in a narrow loss to Iowa last Saturday.

"Air Force has scored over a 195 this season and Texas Woman's has posted over a 194 this season," said Southeast coach Patty Stotzheim. "If we can score with those teams we can have our best score of the season and improve our regional position."

Air Force is ranked 28th nationally with a team average of 193.181 while Texas Woman's has an average of 190.80 and Southeast an average of 189.675.

Southeast is led by sophomore Ashley Godwin who has an all-around high score of 39.1. Junior all-arounder Amy Cole has a top score of 38.55.

The next home meet for Southeast will be on Saturday, Feb. 23, when Texas Woman's University will visit Houck Field House for a 7 p.m. dual.
