No. 35 Redhawks Gymnastics Returns Home for Dual

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. - (Friday, February 25, 2005) The 35th-ranked Redhawks gymnastics team returns home after a three-dual road trip. Despite posting a record of 1-4 during their road trip, they posted season-highs in team scores in all their duals including a score of 194.525 vs Bowling Green and Wisconsin-Oshkosh.

Southeast`s (3-5, 2-2 MIC) ranking is the highest ranking for a Southeast gymnastics team since the March 16, 1999 poll when Southeast was ranked 30th with a Regional Qualifying Score (RQS) of 193.4375. Individually Tara Boldt (Lakeville, Minn./ T.A.G.S) ranks 44th in the country in the all-around with a RQS of 38.250. Boldt was recently named Midwest Independent Conference Gymnast of the Week.

The Eagles are undefeated this season in duals with a 12-0 record. They are ranked 55th with a RQS of 181.290.

Southeast is undefeated in the all-time series against the Eagles. The Redhawks are 7-0 in duals vs the Eagles, including a 194.075-189.600 victory last season in the Houck Field House.
