Southeast Gymnastics Hold First Team Meeting To Prepare For The Season

Aug. 22, 2007

By Matthew Worthington, Gymnastics Contact

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO. (Aug. 22, 2007) - The 2007-08 gymnastics team had their first team meeting of the year to discuss the activities, goals and expectations of the upcoming season.

Head coach Tom Farden and assistant coach Brogan Evanson signed six new athletes to the team and look to duplicate last season's success. The 2006-07 squad saw time ranked 22nd nationally and finished the season as the National Academic Champions.

"We are very excited to have these high quality student-athletes in our program," said Farden. "Having a roster of 17 gymnasts will provide us with the depth that we have been lacking for the last two years."

The Redhawks will give a preview of their talents and abilities in December as they perform in their annual Red vs. Black Intra-Squad Meet.

Please stay tuned to http://www.gosoutheast.com for further information and updates on the gymnasts.
