Gymnastics Program Announces Third Signing for Next Season

Dec. 21, 2003

CAPE GIRARDEAU - The Southeast Missouri State gymnastics program announced that Alison Ezell, of Kansas City, Mo., has signed to compete with the Otahkians next year.

Ezell, who trained under coach Damian Bunting at Alpha Omega Gymnastics, will help round out an already strong 2004 freshman class.

"Alison is a powerful and talented athlete," said Southeast head gymnastics coach Tom Farden. "She shows promise as a solid All-Arounder."

As a Level 10 gymnast, she finished 50th at the 2002 Junior Olympic National Championships. She then placed 11th in the All-Around at the 2003 Region IV Level 10 Regionals.

Ezell, just as her fellow announced signees, is a Honor Roll student. She carries a perfect 4.0 grade point average.

"We're very proud to have her join the Southeast family," Farden said.
