Southeast defeated Morehead State to remain undefeated in the OVC

MOREHEAD, Ky. - Southeast Missouri State defeated Morehead State 3-1 in soccer. Southeast remains undefeated in the OVC. The loss eliminated MSU from a possible berth to the OVC Tournament.

Sophomore forward Diana Poovey scored two of the three goals for the Otahkians. Junior Erika Todd assisted Poovey on a goal and had an unassisted goal herself in the game. Poovey's other goal was assisted by Freshman Lisa Schweppe.

The next match for the Otahkians is on the 25th when they host former Southeast assistant coach Kelley Poole and her team from Austin-Peay at 7:00 pm. Admission is $3.00 for adults, $1.00 for children (6-18), and Southeast students are free.
