Soccer faces Busch-Hulcer from St. Louis for Exhibition Game

Aug. 21, 2002

Cape Girardeau - The Southeast Soccer team is preparing to play its first full squad game this Saturday at 7:00 p.m., against the Busch-Hulcer Soccer Club out of St. Louis. It will be the first action the full team, including the newcomers will see this season.

Busch-Hulcer is part of the select Busch Soccer Club. They are an under-18 team who are four time Missouri State Champions and two time Midwest Regional Champions. Southeast Coach Heather Nelson is excited to play such an outstanding and challenging team. "This team is remarkable," said Nelson.

The game will take place in newly renovated Houck Stadium and there will be no admission. The Otahkians play their first season game on August 30 against Indiana State at 7:00 p.m. during the Labor Day Tournament.
