Brentwood, Tenn. - Southeast Missouri State Soccer sophomore forward Diana Poovey has been named the Ohio Valley Conference's Player of the Week for the week of October 21, as announced by the league office today.

Poovey led the Otahkians to a 3-1 win last week against Morehead State by scoring two of the team's three goals in the game.

"Diana is a valuable asset to the team. She displays a high level of athletic ability during every game," said Coach Heather Nelson.

Poovey and the Otahks will be back in action this weekend at home against Austin-Peay and Tennessee-Martin.
