CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. - Southeast Missouri State soccer players Courtney Alexander (Liberty, MO/Liberty) and Lindsay Pickering (St. Charles, MO/St. Charles West) were honored by the Ohio Valley Conference on Tuesday afternoon for their performances in the Redhawks' final regular season road trip last weekend.

She contributed three shot attempts a couple of days later at Tennessee-Martin in which Southeast earned a 0-0 ties in double overtime. She is currently tied for the team lead in assists (six) and points (22).

Pickering recorded 15 saves in over 183 minutes in goal last weekend for the Redhawks. She tallied five saves in 73 minutes against Murray before posting her fifth shutout of the year with a season-high 10 saves at UT Martin. She leads the team with 64 assists and a 0.76 goals against average.

The Redhawks open their final homestand of the year Friday night at Houck Stadium with an OVC match against Jacksonville State beginning at 7 p.m. Southeast will honor its seven seniors in a senior night ceremony prior to the match.
