CAPE GIRARDEAU - Southeast Missouri State will face the Golden Eagles of Tennessee Tech in the semi-finals of the Ohio Valley Conference Soccer Tournament on Friday. Top-seeded Southeast enters the tournament undefeated in the OVC and with high hopes of winning it all and going to the NCAA tournament for the first time.

During regular season play the Otahkians were victorious against the Golden Eagles 2-1. Junior Valerie Henderson led the Otahks with four shots, two on goal, and assisted sophomore Marla Gianino for the first goal of the game. The game-winning goal came from freshman Ashley DeRoy and was assisted by Michelle Frossard. Tennessee Tech scored in the last 20 minutes of playing time by a breakaway shot for Jill Burns.

The winner of the game on Friday night will advance to the finals on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. Admission for the tournament is $3.00 for adults, $1.00 for children 6-18 and free for students from participating schools' ID.
