Southeast Softball Couldn't Get Past EKU

RICHMOND, Ky. - The Southeast Missouri State softball team (15-27, 11-9) lost today's game with Eastern Kentucky (27-16, 13-7), 3-0. The Otahkians were able to split with Eastern Kentucky in yesterday's doubleheader.

The Otahkians lost today 3-0 against Eastern Kentucky. EKU was able to put up all three runs by the end of the third innings and Southeast was unable to even get a hit off of pitcher Jonelle Csora. Csora pitched all seven innings taking the win giving out only three walks. Junior Melissa Van Velkenburg took the loss after pitching 2.2 innings while Rachel Van Fleet pitched the remaining 3.1 innings.

The Otahkians will head to the OVC Tournament starting May 8, in Cookville, Tenn.
