CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo.- Thursday's softball contest at Saint Louis University has been cancelled due to cold weather that has moved into the area.

No makeup date for the game has been announced, but it is likely the teams will play again this season, due to the proximity of the two teams.

This is the second time this season, a schedule game between SLU and Southeast was cancelled. The two teams were also suppose to face off at the Southeast Softball Classic the opening weekend of March. Cold weather, however, cancelled that event.

Overall this season, Southeast has lost seven games to cold weather and two more to rain. Southeast has played only 13 of a already scheduled 22 games this season.
