CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo.- A forecast calling for sleet and snow in Springfield on Tuesday has cancelled the Southeast Missouri State Softball team's doubleheader with Southwest Missouri State.

This marks the 11th game of the season that has been cancelled by either rain or cold weather for Southeast. Southeast had previously lost five games to cold at the first weekeknd of March at the Southeast Softball Classic, the second game of a doubleheader to Indiana State due to rain, the championship round of the Winthrop Tournament do to rain and a doubleheader with Saint Louis University do to the cold.

Southeast will now have the week off before travelling to Nashville to battle Tennessee State on Friday for a 1:00 p.m. doubleheader.
