CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. - It was Support the Troops Day yesterday at the Southeast Softball game, sponsored by Southeast Athletics. Several donations were made at the game including over $500. The Delta Chi Fraternity collected donations and wrote a check out to Southeast for over $480.

The money collected will help pay for postage and more supplies for the troops. All supplies collected from the game will be sent to Ft. Leonard Wood, Mo. where they will be given to troops getting ready to be deployed.

The Southeast Athletics sponsored a Support the Troops Day with Baseball earlier this season and collected over three truck's full of supplies. Those supplies have been shipped to soldiers in Baghdad, Kuwait, and two ships at sea.
