Very craft player with good endurance … hard worker on and off the court … highly ranked coming out of high school … should play number one or two position for Southeast.

Prep: Attended Paoli High in Indiana … coached by her mother Marsha Wells and private coach Stu Townsend… four-time team MVP … first-team all-state during senior season and named to Indiana all-star team … also a regional finalist and captain of team for senior season … named school’s Female Athlete of the Year … compiled a 64-6 record as a number one singles player in four years … ranked as high as 18th in the USTA’s ranking of 18-year olds in the Midwest … also participated in volleyball where she was the team’s co-captain and co-MVP … named all-conference and won team award for most assists and highest scoring percentage.

Personal: Born 3-9-83 … daughter of Dave and Marsha Wells … majoring in elementary education … also recruited by IUPUI, IP-Fort Wayne, Akron, Toledo and Murray State … Scholar Athlete in high school and graduated in top 10% of her class … favorite pro athlete is Pete Sampras.
