COLUMBIA, Mo.- The Southeast Missouri Otahkian Tennis team dropped its second match of the weekend on Sunday, falling to the Missouri Tigers by a score of 7-0. A day earlier the Otahkians fell to the Saint Louis Billikens 6-1 on Saturday in St. Louis.

Saturday, Southeast (0-2) got its lone point from sophomore Kay Ehlke, who defeated SLU's Rebecca Steer in straight sets 6-2, 6-3. Every other matchup was also decided in straight sets, but with the Billikens (1-0) on the winning side.

On Sunday, the Othaks lost to a powerful Missouri Tigers (2-0) team, who had swept the SIU Salukis the previous day. Southeast had a tough time on the day, winning only five total games in five singles matches and three games in two doubles matches.

Southeast will now have a long stretch of time before their next contest, when they battle Murray State in their OVC opener on March 13 in Murray.
