Peoria, Ill. (March 8, 2003) - The Southeast Missouri State Otahkian tennis team won its first match of the season today as it defeated the Braves of Bradley University four matches to three.

Individual winners for the team included Daniela Garcia winning in three, Cassie Foster and Kay Ehlke winning in straight sets, while Amanda Walker won in dramatic fashion dropping the first set, but bouncing back to win the second and the final set on a tiebreaker. Foster and Ehlke were victorious in doubles action.

3. Paterson and Bianchi over Jarell and Walker (SEMO) 8-3

Southeast will next be in action March 12 at home against Tennessee State at the Southeast Tennis Complex at 2 p.m.
