JACKSON, Mo. - Southeast tennis fell today by a 7-0 margin at the Class Act Family Fitness tennis courts to the second place UT Martin Skyhawks. The Redhawks now drop to 1-18 (1-6 OVC) on the year, while the Skyhawks continue to improve to 11-6 (7-1 OVC).

In doubles, the Redhawks went down quickly as the No. 1 tandem of Julia Masotti and Elise Nattier were the only ones to pick up a game win before losing 8-1 to Martie Wahl and Belisa De Brito. In No. 2 doubles, Anna LeBoeuf and Erika Seabaugh fell by an 8-0 score to Julianne McMeen and Sara Leavy. In No. 3 play, Valentina Emiliani and Rebecca Volle lost a quick 1-0 match due to an injury.

In singles, Masotti fell in a tight match to Wahl by a 7-5, 6-2 score in No. 1 action. In the No. 2 spot, Nattier couldn't come up with a win as she dropped a 6-1, 6-0 match to Leavy. Continuing in No. 3 and No. 4 singles, LeBoeuf and True couldn't win any games as they both succumbed to their opponents by identical 6-0, 6-0 marks. Seabaugh notched a few game wins before eventually lost 6-3, 6-0 to Le Merle. Closing out in No. 6 singles, Sarah Pettigrew was edged out by McMeen as she went down 6-2, 6-4.
