CARBONDALE, Ill. - Southeast Missouri (2-13) lost to Missouri Valley Conference foe Creighton (11-6), 6-1, Saturday at the Saluki Tennis Courts.

Nikole Novikova and Elizabeth Nyenwe defeated Anna Kirshenbaum and Analese Snyder, 8-6, in No. 1 doubles. Novikova later took down Kirshenbaum, 6-0, 6-0, at the top singles spot to score Southeast's only point of the day.

Southeast's No. 6 singles match and No. 3 doubles bout were retired due to injury.

Elizabeth Nyenwe also dropped a close match in No. 2 singles. Nyenwe fell to Kelsey Schmidt, 6-7 (5-7), 4-6.

The Redhawks conclude their 2011 season at Eastern Illinois Monday.
