CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. - The Southeast Missouri Tennis team (3-8, 2-4) defeated Tennessee State (0-8, 0-4), 6-1. This is the first season since 1998 that the Otahkians have won at least two OVC matches.

"It was a good win for the team," said coach Mike Stevens. "Everyone worked hard despite the windy conditions and we played a good team. Getting an OVC win now is good for a boost, especially with the OVC tournament a week and a half away."
