Redhawks Add Alyce Kelly and Taylor Orahood to Tennis Squad

Jan. 15, 2008

By Tyler Koonce, Sports Information Assistant

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. - Southeast Missouri State tennis head coach Mark Elliott announced the addition of Alyce Kelly (Perth, Australia/Edith Cowan) and Taylor Orahood (Montrose, Colo./Montrose) to the roster for the upcoming 2008 spring season. Kelly will be a sophomore in eligibility while Orahood joins the program as a true freshman.

"Alyce has an all-court game, she can do everything and has solid ground strokes and good vollies," Elliott said. "She's a good doubles player and is a great addition to the team."

"Taylor is known for a good forehand and has a competitive spirit," Elliott commented. "She'll help us in both singles and doubles."
