Southeast (0-3) @ Spring Break Trip
March 17 - March 21, 2002
Hilton Head, S.C.

About Southeast: The Southeast Tennis Otahkians coming off their first conference match of the 2002 season will take their annual Spring Break trip to Hilton Head, S.C. to battle five teams over the course of the next week.

Southeast opens with Lipscomb on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. and will then battle Fairleigh Dickinson, Minnesota, Western Kentucky and Wichita State. Last season, the Otahkians also entered the trip with a 0-3 record and were able to post a great 4-1 record on the trip which also included a win over this year's opponent Fairleigh Dickinson.

Southeast did take a hit last week when it got news of a torn disc suffered by freshman Tyla Wells who was playing in the number one and two positions. She is out for the season and will receive a medical redshirt. Her roster spot was filled by junior Lara Golike who was a member of the Southeast team two seasons ago. Golike played in her first match against Murray State on Wednesday.

The Otahkians will not host a home meet in the Spring until April 11 when Eastern Illinois comes to town.
