Women's Tennis Travels to Saint Louis

March 31, 2003

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. - The Southeast Missouri State tennis team (2-4, 1-1) will challenge the Saint Louis Billikens (8-11) April 1. The match will begin at 3 p.m. at the Billiken Tennis Center.

The Otahkians are coming off of a conference win to Austin Peay, 5-2. The Garcia sisters won their sets, as well as Andrea Aldana, and Kay Ehlke in singles play. Daniela Garcia and partner Aldana won their doubles play in the No. 1 seed while Cristina Garcia and partner Amanda Walker won their doubles play in the No. 3 seed.

The Billikens have eight wins for the season. The Billikens are currently ranked ninth in the USA conference out of fourteen women's teams. Jonathan Zych coaches the Billikens.

The Otahkians will be home again April 4 at 2 p.m. at the Southeast Softball Complex. They will play host to the Tennessee State Tigers.
