Southeast (2-12, 1-3) vs. Eastern Illinois (7-5, 3-1)
April 11, 2002 - 2:00 p.m.
Cape Girardeau, Mo. - Southeast Tennis Complex

Coming off a hard fought match with a very talented Tennessee-Martin squad, the Southeast Missouri State tennis team will stay at home for a change when they host the Eastern Illinois Panthers on Thursday afternoon. The match will be the Otahkians first and only home match of the Spring season.

"It should be a good day for tennis," said Southeast coach Donna Ryan. "The kids are ready for a home match; we have been on the road for so long. Hopefully we will be able to show everybody what we can do."

Individually, sophomore Kay Ehlke was continued to shine for Southeast. With her singles win versus UT-Martin on Tuesday, Ehlke now hold a 3-1 singles record in OVC play, the tops on the team.

Following the EIU match, Southeast will close up the regular season by travelling for weekend matches at Tennessee Tech and Morehead State. The Otahkians will start OVC Tournament play in Nashville on April 19.
