2008 All-OVC Tennis Teams

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. - Senior Bryce Kristal was selected to be on the first out of two All-Ohio Valley Conference Teams last Thursday, April 17. The teams were decided upon by the head tennis coaches in the OVC and Kristal earned the fifth spot on the first team.

This season, Bryce led the Redhawks in the No. 1 spot in singles and doubles to a 5-15, 2-8 OVC record for the year, in which she personally went 13-7 overall and 7-3 in the conference. At one point in the season, Kristal was on a seven-match winning streak, which included wins against four conference opponents. She also teamed up with her sister, Drew, to go 10-8 overall and 6-4 in the OVC this season.

Bryce places third all-time at Southeast in career singles wins with 52, and leads in doubles wins with Drew with 50, as they have played in No. 1 doubles all four years of their collegiate careers.
