CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (October 24, 2001) - The Southeast Missouri Otahkian tennis squad will close the Fall practice portion of its schedule by hosting a triangular meet this weekend at the Southeast Tennis Complex. The Otahks will host UMKC on Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. and Bradley on Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m.

The Otahkians have had almost a three-week layoff since their last match against Harding University. The Otahkians came up on the short end of that match but will look to bounce back this weekend as their young team gains valuable experience.

In its last match, Southeast got a gutsy performance from freshman Tyla Wells who was the lone Otahkian to win a singles matchup against Harding.

Southeast will see UMKC in the spring season, as the Otahkians will travel to Kansas City on April 2-6 for a quad meet that also includes Creighton and Southern Utah.

UMKC and Bradley will face each other in the other match, Saturday afternoon at 2:00 p.m.
