CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. - Sophomore right side hitter Karleigh DeLong (Corona, Calif./Santiago) tallied a match-best 22 kills with 18 digs as Southeast Missouri State volleyball posted a 3-1 (23-30, 30-26, 30-20, 32-30) victory over visiting Southern Illinois tonight at Houck Stadium. The Redhawks evened their season record to 10-10, while the Salukis fell to 11-8 on the year.

Junior outside hitter Aubrey Dondlinger (Palos Heights, Ill./Parkland CC) and freshman outside hitter Claire Keaton (St. Louis, Mo./Incarnate Word) also posted double-doubles for Southeast. Dondlinger tallied 16 kills and 12 digs, while Keaton produced 13 kills and 12 digs.

Junior middle blocker Kim Unnerstall (Washington, Mo./St. Francis Borgia) scored a career-best eight blocks and senior middle blocker Brenna Schlader (Columbia, Mo./Hickman) recorded seven blocks to pace the Redhawks, while sophomore libero Molly Davis (Muncie, Ind./Burris) tallied a match-high 20 digs and sophomore setter Sarah Barth (Germantown, Ill./Central) posted a match-best 53 assists.

Freshman Jennifer Berwanger paced SIU with a double-double of 14 kills and 12 digs, while junior Erika Bartruff recorded a double-double of 44 assists and 10 digs. Sophomore Chandra Robertson added four blocks and senior Kristy Elswick has 15 digs.

The Redhawks head to Alabama this weekend for a pair of Ohio Valley Conference matches, beginning Friday night at Samford with a start time of 7 p.m.
