Dondlinger Leads Southeast Past UT Martin in Five Games

MARTIN, Tenn. - Junior outside hitter Aubrey Dondlinger (Palos Heights, Ill./Parkland CC) tallied a double-double of a match-high 19 kills with 15 digs as Southeast Missouri State volleyball rebounded from a 2-0 deficit to claim a 3-2 (25-30, 29-31, 30-24, 30-20, 15-6) win over host UT Martin Tuesday night at Skyhawk Fieldhouse. The Redhawks hiked their season record to 19-11 (14-5) and the Skyhawks fell to 10-20 (4-14) on the year.

Sophomore right side hitter Karleigh DeLong (Corona, Calif./Santiago) produced her first collegiate triple-double as she tallied 16 kills, 11 assists and 10 digs on the night, while sophomore setter Sarah Barth (Germantown, Ill./Central) added a double-double of a match-best 51 assists and 12 digs. Senior middle blocker Brenna Schlader (Columbia, Mo./Hickman) posted 16 kills and equaled a career high with nine block assists. Sophomore libero Molly Davis (Muncie, Ind./Burris) notched a match-best 25 digs and a career-high five service aces.

Sophomore Taylor Noland produced 16 kills, junior Sarah Jett tallied eight block assists and senior Shelby Knose scored 30 assists to pace UT Martin. Freshman Raquel Jones recorded 10 kills and junior Anna Gautreau recorded 24 digs, while freshman Emily Steinbeck notched 24 assists in the match.

Southeast posted leading margins in kills (74-61), assists (66-57), digs (72-70) and service aces (13-4), while the Skyhawks held a 15-9 blocking advantage.

The Redhawks close the 2007 regular season Friday night at Houck Fieldhouse with an OVC contest against Austin Peay starting at 7 p.m.
