CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO. - After four months away from the court, the Southeast Missouri State volleyball team opens up their spring season this Saturday, April 2. The Redhawks hosts a six-team tournament that starts at 9:00 a.m. at Houck Field House.

The Redhawks will welcome SIU Edwardsville, SIU Carbondale, Truman University, Jefferson College and East Central College to their tournament.

This weekend's tournament will be the head coaching debut of Julie Yankus who was hired to take over the helm of the program on March 3.

The tournament is one of two tournaments that the Redhawks will play in during their spring campaign. On April 9, they will be one of nine teams competing in the Ole Miss Spring Tournament in Oxford, Miss.
